Although it is true that most kielbasas are pretty similar, it is possible to create a true home-style kielbasa that strays from the pack. Never being the type to settle for average, we set forth to create one of those "rebel" kielbasas that put most of their mass-produced peers to shame.
Did you know that many kielbasa producers place upwards of 50% fat into their sausages? It can be difficult to detect since kielbasas are generally ground very fine… which is a very convenient process when you're trying to hide the quality of your meat!
Once you slice into our kielbasa you'll notice it's not the same processed blend we've all come to expect – it's actual meat! In addition we slow smoke our kielbasas to lend them a robust flavor. You won't find any "smoke in a bottle" or "quick in, quick out" smoking tricks here.
